Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2026

This policy explains how Mailsflux uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and dashboard. We keep our cookie usage minimal — only what is necessary to operate the service and understand how it is used.

Cookies we use

Essential CookiesRequired

Required for the platform to function. These cookies enable you to log in, navigate the dashboard, and use core features. They cannot be disabled without breaking the service.

Examples: Session token, CSRF protection, authentication state

Analytics CookiesOptional

Help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. All analytics data is aggregated — we cannot identify individual users from this data. You can opt out via our cookie preference center.

Examples: Page views, feature usage, funnel analysis (aggregated and anonymized)

Preference CookiesOptional

Remember your settings and preferences across sessions. Disabling these cookies means your preferences will reset on each visit.

Examples: Dashboard layout, theme preference, language setting

Marketing CookiesOptional

Used on our marketing website (not the dashboard) to understand which channels drive signups. We do not use third-party advertising networks or retargeting pixels on the dashboard. You can opt out at any time.

Examples: Ad attribution, referral source tracking

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage for some functional features.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies on both our marketing website (mailsflux.net) and our dashboard (app.mailsflux.net). The categories and purposes are described in the table above. Essential cookies are always active. All other categories can be managed through our cookie preference center, accessible from any page footer.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use: • Stripe (payment processing) — sets cookies to detect fraud and remember your payment session • Sentry (error tracking) — sets a session ID to correlate error reports • Plausible Analytics (analytics) — cookie-free, privacy-respecting analytics. No personal data collected. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising-network cookies.

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage cookie preferences at any time by: • Clicking the cookie preferences link in the footer of any page • Using your browser's built-in cookie controls • Using a browser extension such as uBlock Origin Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging into the dashboard.

5. Cookie Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them: • Authentication token: 30 days (or session, if "remember me" is not selected) • Analytics: up to 12 months • Preference cookies: 12 months • Marketing attribution: 90 days

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookie types. We will notify you of material changes via the in-app notification or by updating the date below. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
